Apply to Attend Essecamp Arran '26

What to expect:

EsseCamp is back for another weekend of free community fun - this time at a secret location on the Isle of Arran between

Friday 01/05/2026 and Monday 04/05/2026.

To attend you just need to be a verifiable member of the community (or their named +1s) and be able to fund your travel to the meeting point near Brodick Ferry Terminal for your allocated pick-up time.

What to expect:

  • Beautiful campsite and communal campfire
  • 3 Meals a day; tea, coffee and drinking water
  • Return shuttles from Brodick Ferry Terminal
  • Group swimming, games and activities
  • Movie night and wilderness gaming
  • Solar recharging for electrical items
  • Composting toilet with privacy tent

While much is provided for free, it might not meet all your personal needs. Feel free to bring whatever you think you may require for your trip (although you do have to be able to carry it!)

As a bare minimum, we would suggest ensuring you have the following before you attend:

  • Tent and Sleeping Bag
  • Torch (USB rechargeable is best)
  • Drinking vessel suitable for hot drinks
  • Plate, utensils and water bottle
  • Towel and hygiene products
  • Suitable clothing and footwear
  • All your tickets to travel

Applications close at 22:00 on Sunday 1st March 2026.
